Hun dei traureg Noriicht och heieren,

hun hien als groussen Contester kennen geleiert, deen LX nees mat den Aktiviteiten vun LX5A an der ganzer Welt nees bekannt gemaach huet.
Och wor hien 1 groussartegen Organisateur deen esou Aktiviteiten wei LX0LT, LX0HQ an och aner Aktivitieiten geplangt huet.
Och wor ech frou dass hien jonk Contester ennerstezt huet an mir beim Opbau vun LX7I an der Neigrennung vun LX9DX fill gehollef huet.

Hien ass einfach fill ze frei vun ons gaang an haat nach fill Pläng wei LX0LT nach emol fir den Telethon opliewen zw lossen.

Mäin Beileed well ech heimadder ausdrecken,
mir hun mat him 1 wichtegen Amateurfunker a Mensch verluer

I am sorry to hear that Robert died . He was kind to me allowing me to operate from Moot Ranch.

Robert,
Thanks for the memories. Your kindness to me will be remembered as long as I have the gift of life. I was looking forward to at least one more Dayton!

very sad news. He was a good guy!

Luxembourg has surely lost a great ham.

My deepest condolences to the LX community and Robert's family.

I hope someone can fill Robert's shoes and continue to keep activity going

in such a big way as LX1RQ did.

Vun him kruut ech och esou muench Afeirung an verschidden Sparten vum Amateurfunk an och meng eischt Invitatioun op eng multi-national Multi-Single Aktiviteit ennert LX6A am CQ WW SSB.

Hien war och mat eng dreiwend Kraft fir LX4A op d'Been ze kreien, zesummen mat villen vun denen Leit dei mat um Begriefness waerten sinn.

Mir waren net emmer enger Meenung, trotzdem ass eis den geigensaeiteg Respekt net verluer gaangen.

Ech kruut virun e puer Meint gesoot wei et em dem Rob seng Gesondheet steht an daat huet mech nawel ziemlech geschockt. Leider ass grad daat elo agetraff, waat ech irgendwann erwaard hunn, mae leider sinn ech den Moment net an LX fir mat op d'Begriefness ze goen.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of LX1RQ, Robert Schoettert. He had been ill for some time. Robert was a long time subscriber of The
Daily DX and could always be seen at Dayton with a big smile on his
face. He was a mover and shaker in the LX Amateur Radio community and
was always found in the middle of many LX operations. I hope someone can stand up and fill Roberts shoes. RIP Robert!

May 29 2006, we received the sad message that our mutual friend and radio amateur Robert LX1RQ went silent key.
He was also responsible for LX5A the famous LX contest station.
His loss will have a great impact on the Luxembourg and European radio
community.

There will be emptiness, which we hope to fill with good memories.

Dear Robert.,
Thanks for your kindness.
Thanks for your willingness to help others.
Thanks for your generous hospitality.
Thanks for your friendship.
Thanks.....

Our condolences go specially to the family and Roberts dearest.
