LX HF MARATHON 2012

Les   Radioamateurs du Luxembourg (RL) invites all members to participate in the 2012 edition of the LX HF Marathon.

 

 Categories of entry

  • LOW max. TX power 100 W
  • HIGH max. TX power 1000 W (legal limit)

 

Modes

  • CW
  • Phone & digital

 

Bands
All amateur bands between 10m and 160m with the exception of relays and Echolink.

 

Period
Throughout the year from January 1 to December 31, 2012.

 

Score
The final score is calculated as follows:

  • A station may be worked on all bands and all modes.
  • QSOs made in all modes  (eg.: phone and cw digi)  will be transmitted in the corresponding category  cw or phone and digi  by yourself in two different logs, or later with your complete log  by the manager of the marathon.
  • Each CQ-Zone is a multiplier and count once per mode.
  • Each country (DXCC) is a multiplier and  count once per mode.
  • Each QSO counts 1 point and is added to the final result.
  • The results of activities with LX75RL will be integrated end of the year in the Log of participating stations, by the manager of the marathon.

Electronic log submission

  • The entries, in ADIF format, must be sent as an attachment tocontestrlx.lu before Sunday 20.01.2013
  • Electronic entries must be compliant to the ADIF file format.
  • The file has to be named  Category_call.adif  e.g. HI_LX1XX.adif.
  • The file must show a chronological QSO list, not separated by band or mode.
  • The log will be calculated and checked with the HRD Log program.
  • The score will be published by the RL board.

 

All participants of each category, will receive a certificate of merit by mail.
Plaques or trophies are awarded to the first of each category.
Log control scores adjustment, disqualifications, etc. will be decided by the RL board.
The decisions taken by the RL board will be final.
